The publication standard

Make the boundary visible.

Pattern separates what was observed from what was derived, modelled, inferred, or left unresolved.

01 · QUESTION

Start with a bounded question.

A publication names the question, place, time window, geographic resolution, and the kind of answer it can support.

02 · EVIDENCE

Show what entered the record.

Sources, releases, provenance, and source visibility are part of the finding. Missing evidence is not silently converted into certainty.

03 · MODEL

Name every transformation.

Reconstructions, derived outputs, scenarios, forecasts, and synthetic results remain distinct from observed facts.

04 · REVIEW

Publish with a status.

Research-only and internal-review work are not public findings. Publications require review, limitations, and a correction or withdrawal path.
